Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy
At BEAUTYPRO, we are committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in all our business activities. This Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy sets out our approach to preventing bribery and corruption and demonstrates our compliance with the UK Bribery Act (2010).
Scope
This policy applies to all BEAUTYPRO employees, contractors, agents, suppliers, distributors and business partners. We expect everyone we work with to uphold the same principles of honesty and transparency.
What is Bribery?
A bribe is offering, giving, requesting, or receiving a financial or other advantage with the intention of:
- Encouraging someone to perform their duties improperly, or
- Rewarding someone for having already done so.
Bribery and corruption may take many forms, including cash payments, gifts, hospitality, services, favours, or any other benefit intended to improperly influence a decision. Suppliers and partners are expected to ensure their sub-suppliers also comply with anti-bribery standards.
Our Commitment
BEAUTYPRO has a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. Specifically, we will not:
- Offer, give, or receive bribes in order to obtain or retain business.
- Permit any action that secures an improper advantage in the conduct of our business.
- Tolerate bribery or corruption by our employees, representatives or business partners.
- Employees are required to complete periodic anti-bribery training and certify understanding of this policy.
Expectations for Our Business Partners
We expect all of our customers, suppliers and partners to uphold the same high standards. This means:
- Not offering or accepting bribes in any form.
- Acting with transparency, fairness, and integrity in all business dealings.
- Reporting any concerns relating to bribery or corruption.
- Immediately notifying BEAUTYPRO of any conflicts of interest or suspected bribery incidents.
Gifts and Hospitality
All employees and partners must ensure that gifts, entertainment or hospitality are reasonable, proportionate and documented.
Any gift or hospitality that could be perceived as a bribe must be approved in advance by senior management.
Reporting Concerns
If you become aware of any activity that may be considered bribery or corruption in connection with BEAUTYPRO, please report it to us immediately at hello@beautypro.com
Reports can be made confidentially or anonymously through our whistleblowing channels.
All reports will be treated seriously and investigated promptly, in line with our Whistleblowing Policy.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
Breaches of this policy may result in:
- Termination of contracts, partnerships or business relationships. Suppliers or partners found to be in breach may face suspension or permanent removal from BEAUTYPRO’s supply chain.
- Disciplinary action (for employees) up to and including dismissal.
- Referral to the relevant authorities; with potential civil or criminal penalties.
