So where did it start?

BeautyPro started in Brighton in 2010 and disrupted the professional beauty industry with an innovative and unique portable hot towel steamer which created a quick space saving compact solution to creating hot towels for mobile therapists and salons alike.

Following it’s success this then led us to develop our own unique sized facial wrap towel to be used with our hot towel steamer. This was a great addition as it helped to relax the face, open pores and cleanse the skin ready for a treatment.

We were always asked what BeautyPro would launch next and so our journey continued.

We saw a gap in the market for an easy to use face mask. Sheet masks were not very known in the UK at this time so we decided to create and launch our first two face sheet masks; the BeautyPro Brightening Mask with Vitamin C and the BeautyPro Rejuvenating Mask with Green tea.

Viva Las Vegas!

In January 2012 we launched BeautyPro at an exhibition in Las Vegas, over the year we would be back and forth to the US many times, travelling through 22 Airports in October alone!

It wasn't without its hiccups, our exhibition in Philadelphia was cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy so with all flights cancelled and with our final show in Chicago we hired a car and drove 758 miles.

First support with a Make-Up artist to supply products, this was for the BBC Hit Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbatch & Martin Freeman

Since 2013 we have proudly supported MUA’s and the Hair & Makeup Departments of TV, Movies and streaming channels such as The BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky, Disney, CBBC, Amazon and Netflix with titles such as Bridgerton, Finding Alice, The Pembrokeshire Murders, Sherlock, The Crown, Hunter Killer, The Nutcracker and The Four Realms, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night TakeAway, Celebrity Juice as well as yet to be announced Hollywood movies.

Over the last year and following the success of our first two masks we had been developing a range extension and launched throughout 2014 the BeautyPro Eye Therapy, Hand Therapy, Foot & Callus, Black Peel, Detoxifying, Nourishing.

By now we were getting recognised by online and high street retailers and our journey into the retail market began.

Our first and longest serving team member Debbie joined us in the September as a Business Development Manager, Debbie now looks after our retail customers.

As more and more men were using sheet masks we decided to launch BARBER PRO which is the first range of sheet masks developed specifically for men containing Activated Charcoal and anti-ageing collagen.

Our first product was the BARBER PRO Post Shave Cooling Mask, The mask has been designed specifically for men and it instantly cools, nourishes, reduces redness and hydrates the skin. Packed with Marine Collagen, Tea Tree Extract, Witch Hazel, Lemon, Tomato, Aloe Vera and Boswellia Serrata Plant Extract which firms the skin and to leave a natural, youthful glow, all in just 15 - 20 minutes!

The winners of The Beauty Awards 2016 with Debenhams Beauty Club and OK! were announced on the 24th November 2016 at an awards ceremony and gala dinner at Banqueting House in London's Whitehall. The star studded event brought together brands, celebrities, retailers, marketers and PRs to celebrate the very best in beauty and the awards recognised the best beauty launches of the previous 12 months.

The BARBER PRO Post Shave Cooling Mask also won theInnovation of The Year in the 2016 Barber Awards and Best Men’s Face Mask in the Beauty Shortlist Awards 2017.

As we grew we had to increase our team and thankfully, we found the amazing Jemma. Jemma started in our warehouse picking and packing and has grown and developed and is now our Warehouse & Operations Manager.

We launched our​ ​Lifting and Purifying 3D​ ​Clay​ ​Masks. The​ ​two-part​ ​3D​ ​clay​ ​masks wrap​ ​around​ ​the​ ​natural​ ​contours​ ​of​ ​the​ ​face​ ​to​ ​provide​ ​a​ ​deep, intense​ ​treatment. The Lifting mask contains​ ​Calamine and was designed to Improve​ ​tone​,​ ​elasticity and to hydrate the skin while the Purifying mask​​ ​​​has Activated​ ​Charcoal to​ ​Detoxifying, Pore​ ​minimising and revitalises​ ​complexion.

2017 also saw the launch of two mew Foil Masks, the Thermotherapy Warming Gold Foil Mask with Hyaluronic Acid & Q10 and the Warming Silver Foil Mask with Vitamin C & Green Tea. The foil backed masks create a seal against the surface of the face, allowing for your natural body temperature to warm the mask and accelerate the penetration of ingredients into the skin.

At the start of the year in January we welcomed Rachael as our Accounts and Finance Manager while Anthony joined in September as our Marketing & Brand Manager.

Sainsburys Award won for Foot Peel - We are delighted to announce another award win for BeautyPro Foot & Callus Peel. Last Thursday, our popular foot rejuvenation sheet mask won the category: Getting Ready to Sparkle at the prestigious Sainsbury’s Beauty Awards, voted for by Sainsbury’s customers who try, and fall in love with the products. Our Foot & Callus Peel, helps to effectively and safely remove dry hard skin resulting in soft, healthy feet.

2018 was also the year we launched our Hair Therapy Deep Conditioning Hair Mask with Argan Oil- Introducing the next big sheet mask breakthrough... BeautyPro HAIR THERAPY Enriched with Argan Oil and Jojoba Seed Oil, this intense, deep conditioning hair mask revitalises dry, frizzy, damaged hair. The hair sheet mask locks in heat which helps to penetrate the ingredients deep into the hair for a rich nourishing treatment.

With our product range growing we extended our warehouse and warehouse team in August 2018 Adara joined the warehouse team 

As we extended the BARBER PRO range we started to introduce colour to the packaging to make identifying your favorite mask quicker.

In June we Implemented our Sustainability Plan throughout the business, this included moving from plastic packaging tape and materials to paper, moving all company cars to electric as well as adopting 400K British Honey Bees, using FSC approved material and all face sheet masks bening plastic free and degradable in 75 days.

We also partnered with Offset Earth to plant 192 trees per month, in a bid to help combat deforestation and reduce our carbon footprint.

As well as doing our bit with our Sustainability Plan we were certified Cruelty Free by PETA, as a team of animal lovers and many furbabies in the team this was a great achievement.

We had two new team members join the BeautyPro family this year, in the warehouse Juliette joined the team and Poppy started as our in house designer.

This year started out with no warning of what was about to unfold but as a team we were there for each other and with a lot of projects in the pipeline.

In January and in line with Veganuary we launched our Plant Based Range, registered Vegan by The Vegan Society.

We launched our Frontline campaign to all frontline workers, during the first lockdown we supplied over £250,000 worth of products to the ward working selfless key workers who kept the nation going.

In September we launched our first ever Advent Calendar for BeautyPro and BARBER PRO and sold out in 3 weeks.

During lockdown we recruited two new team members to join the family, Molly our Social Media Executive and Janna our Ecommerce Manager.

As our marketing team was growing we needed someone to take the position of Head of Marketing and there was no one else apart from our Marketing & Brand Manager Anthony.

August would have been our 10th Birthday and with a party that was planned to happen in Brighton where it all began the party had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, we still celebrated on line with competitions and giveaways but hope we can celebrate in style in 2021
