Responsible Sourcing Policy

At BEAUTYPRO, we are committed to sourcing ingredients, packaging, and products in a way that protects people, animals, and the planet. This Responsible Sourcing Policy outlines the standards we expect from our suppliers and partners to ensure that our supply chain reflects our values of sustainability, integrity and respect for human rights.

Scope

This policy applies to all suppliers, manufacturers, contractors and service providers who supply goods or services to BEAUTYPRO, as well as any subcontractors involved in the production or delivery of our products.

This policy is aligned with BEAUTYPRO’s Modern Slavery Policy, Supplier Code of Conduct, and HREDD Policy. Suppliers must ensure that their operations and sub-suppliers comply with these overarching policies.

Human Rights & Labour Practices

  • Ensuring all work is freely chosen, with no forced, bonded or child labour.
  • Upholding fair wages, working hours, and safe working conditions in line with International Labour Organisation (ILO) standards.
  • Promoting diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity throughout our supply chain.
  • Suppliers must respect internationally recognised human rights and labour standards, including UNGPs, and report any suspected violations via BEAUTYPRO’s whistleblowing channels.

Environmental Responsibility

  • Minimising environmental impact by responsibly sourcing raw materials.
  • Preferring suppliers who demonstrate sustainable practices, such as reducing emissions, water use and waste.
  • Avoiding deforestation, unsustainable palm oil, and other high-risk commodities.
  • Suppliers should provide periodic environmental performance data when requested to support monitoring and continuous improvement.

Animal Welfare

  • Maintaining a cruelty-free supply chain with no animal testing at any stage of product development.
  • Preferring suppliers that follow recognised animal welfare standards where animal-derived ingredients are used.
  • Compliance with BEAUTYPRO’s Animal Testing Statement and Vegan Policy is mandatory.

Business Ethics

  • Zero tolerance for corruption, bribery, or unethical practices.
  • Transparency and honesty in all business dealings.
  • Suppliers must disclose any conflicts of interest that could impact business decisions with BEAUTYPRO.

Supplier Expectations

Suppliers are expected to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct business ethically and transparently.
  • Monitor and manage their own supply chains to ensure compliance with this policy.
  • Report any breaches, risks, or concerns related to responsible sourcing.
  • Cascade these requirements to all sub-suppliers and ensure ongoing compliance throughout their supply chains.

Due Diligence & Monitoring

  • We conduct due diligence to identify and mitigate risks in our supply chain.
  • Suppliers may be subject to audits, self-assessments, and third-party verifications.Continued partnership is contingent on compliance with this policy.
  • Suppliers must cooperate fully with BEAUTYPRO in any investigations or assessments of compliance.

Continuous Improvement

BEAUTYPRO is committed to working collaboratively with suppliers to build capacity and drive positive change. We encourage innovation and ongoing improvement in sustainable and ethical sourcing practices. Suppliers are expected to actively engage in continuous improvement and adopt best practices over time.

Governance & Accountability

Responsibility for implementing this policy sits with BEAUTYPRO’s leadership team. Suppliers found in violation of this policy may face corrective action, up to and including termination of the business relationship.

This policy is reviewed annually to ensure alignment with legislation, international standards, and BEAUTYPRO’s broader Responsible Sourcing, Modern Slavery, and HREDD commitments.
